New to the site and posted about putting an xpipe on to increase sound thanks for all the replys glad i didnt waste the money since i was looking to get sound i was going to purchase the SLP blackwing intake and SLP loudmouth exhaust and was looking for any advice on these two items.
I would recommend the Corsa sport muffler system, especially for A6 cars. The other muffler systems have problems with drone at intermediate speeds.
The new LG carbon fiber intake system looks to be first class. At least take a look at it first. The Vararam intake is a great performance mod, but has some quality problems.

Thanks for the suggestion! If you have any questions about our carbon products please let me know how I can help.
We also stock a number of Corsa systems, and for the A6 cars they do work very well on reducing the amount of drone inside the car.
any true cold air system is what you want (these have to cut the shroud to get the collector behind the grill for true cold air) I would look at headers/cats/x-pipe next along with a tune to get the best benefit.

Has the new LG carbon fiber intake been released for sale? I have been keeping tabs on the LG CAI thread, but have not seen any details about it being released for purchase.

And by doing so you reduce the high pressure air going through the radiator and reduce cooling efficiency. Any air leaks around this hole now fill the area under the hood and cause front end lift.
