Beefing Up a C6 Auto Trans
Been going crazy asking around and it seems like non of the Performance Transmission Builders are doing much with the A6 transmission other than changing the Torque Converter. Working on a project with my car to put out some big HP and I am very concerned with using the stock transmission without beefing it up. I do not want to change to a turbo or glide tranny and want to maintain the stock style tranny. Has anbody had any experience with really beefing it up?

they have an in house trans dyno too.
RPM Transmissions will take care of it.

supercharged Warhawk LS7X 427 worked with NoS, stock tranny, with 3:42 diff with hardened shafts along with Suspension upgrades. Project is still in the works so can only estimate RWHP most likely somewhere between 800 to 1000. Car should be up and running in a month or two then its got to spend a lot of time on the dyno to set it up right.
