They are identically the same, fan will mount, cooler for the tranny lines are the same. The base model C6 radiator is 1" thick, the z06 fitment is 1.5" thick. Very nice upgrade for stock pieces.

I have Andy's A&A V-2 Kit on my LS2, and installed the C6 Z06 radiator with fans. It is much larger than the Base C6 radiator and I don't have any cooling isses with the SC kit. I would also like to add an oil cooler, because the oil temp can run a little higher than the coolant and trans temps (not super hot, but a bit higher).

Hi Buddy,

I think there probably are differences between the years, but my understanding is that the Z06 radiator does not have a built in oil cooler because C6Z cars have an external one.
That said, unless you are getting a killer deal on this rad, if you want to upgrade in my mind the DeWitts is the ONLY way to go. The radiator is enormous, with a dual core that is more than twice as thick as the stock one, and the built in oil and transmission coolers are huge. It made such a difference on my temperatures that I could hardly believe it myself; right now in the summer, at 80-85MPH, my car cruises on the highway with the coolant between 176 and 179F, down from about 205F. My oil temps dropped from 210 down to 189 - 190. The car runs almost too cold with the DeWitts.
It was a direct bolt on too, and I kept my stock fan.

The Z is also twice as thick and was only 125.00 like new from a member. Maybe not a Dewitts but still worth it.

Fair enough.
But do keep in mind that a DeWitts radiator is a required upgrade for C6Z06 cars that get supercharged

totally--If you're going to spend ANY money, do it right to begin with and you'll be happy. Along with the DeWitts radiator, I run 160* stat and Mezziere electric water pump which completes the package. Z06 Oil cooler is externally mounted and sells for about $800. new. Unless you track it often, the Z06 oil cooler is overkill for a base C6 IMHO.
