Hi, just finishing installing a Callaway Honker...do I need to disconnect the battery so the computer learns the new air flow, or will it do it on it's own? If I do have to disconnect the battery how long should I do it for, also anything besides the windows needed to be re-indexed do I need to do?
When I installed, the shroud was a pain to get out, but easy to put back in once you know how it comes out. Just take your time and stay away from deep puddles. I love my Callaway intake, but I did hydrolock my LS3 trying to coast through a puddle that was around 6" deep in the parking lot at work. Downside = blown motor. Upside = 418 Stroker LS3 now resides under the hood.
