hey guys, I will be swapping my corsa sport axle-back with a B&B Bullet axle-back. I was wondering, how hard is it to remove an axle back? is it just a matter of loosening some clamps from the piping and unhooking the hooks? I dont have a lift, do have basic tools, was thinking I could just get under the rear and do it myself. any info is appreciated, thanks guys.
Its easy, simply loosen the clamps on each side of the midpipe, unhook the mufflers from the rubber mounts at the tailpipe, and wiggle it out. You may have to unbolt the clamps at the mufflers as well.
I have a lift, so its very easy, but even with jackstands I can remove and reinstall in 30 mins or so.

as loing as the pipes arent too rusted (which you can use a torch to heat up or even rust penetrant) and you can get the rear end high enuf its really easy. If you are only able to get it as high as jack stands my guess is its pretty tight to wiggle them out. i have seen it done tho
