When I bought my 2009 coupe I was undecided about the dual mode exhaust I've had the car for a year and I am thinking about installing The GM system.Who would be the best dealer to buy it from and where does the vacuum line connect on the intake?
For new mufflers, there are several vendors on here. You must get the model for 09's and possibly up..08 system will not work..The cross over pipes are different lengths...Gene Culley and Parts Taxi come to mind. There was a period where it was tough to get the mufflers shipped without damage to the tips..Hopefully that is corrected.
The vacuum taps off a nipple on the back of the manifold. You will also need a system to open/close the valves..There is a simple one that uses a fob for remote actuation. (NPP in a Box, several vendors sell it) There is also a vendor (Sunset Orange Creations) that has a controller that will allow you to use a rpm setpoint to automatically open the valves..I did not order my 08 with NPP, because no one had it then, and I was unsure of what it sounded like. So I added a set of Z06 mufflers a year later. Love the sound..If you are just slightly mechanically inclined you can add this system to your car...Lots of threads on it if you search NPP...
You might try the C6 parts for sale section and pick up an NPP system for less..

You can actually use the 08 system. The only difference is a slight difference in the passenger side bend of the over the axel pipe and X or H pipe. A competent muffler shop can make the change easily. This will open you up to more availability of systems for sale.
Gene and Parts Taxi both have very good prices on the NPPs almost as cheap as I have sold a few used sets for in the past. This way you can order just what you need and be a bolt in job.
