just as the title says... I am looking for a cam for a LS2 corvette and I thought this camshaft would be good for a LS2 corvette for a someday magnacharged car with 10psi. Probably a later mod. But for now the car is gonna be stock block. New valve train due to the cam and heads, american racing headers, corsa cat back.
Run a 1.7 rocker on the intake side and a 1.8 on the exhaust side, and it makes for a pretty good forced induction cam with good drivability. There are better choices out there, but you can make it work.
im still not convinced that the zr1 cam is the ideal choice, yes its a blower cam, but based around a positive displacement blower. but hopefully it will make big numbers.

It is the perfect cam for me: it is a factory cam so driveability won't be "like stock"; it WILL be stock, which is very important on a daily driver like mine... It is also reasonably agressive. Here are the actual, measured specs of the one that went into my car:
I've heard nothing but good things about it. When I called up Lingenfelter one of their Engineers told me that they had their own design for a blower cam which went on all their FI cars; when the ZR-1 came out and they had one in their shop they pulled its cam and indexed it; he said they found that the ZR-1's camshaft was virtually identical in every way to the blower cam they had been making since the C5 days! They stopped making that cam and now use the ZR1 cam on all their builds. ECS also reports great results with it.
Sure, it won't make as much power as an all out, agressive blower cam... But power is easy on these cars; I want something that goes beyond just being fast; its got to be fast and 100% streetable
Sam, your going to love this cam. There might be some cam that makes more peak power but power under the curve is going to be hard to beat. I make 750 rwtq at 3900 rpms and it is like stock. Good luck on your build, can't wait to here the results.
I believe the number are 210/230

I believe the OP said he was wanting a cam for a Maggie which I think is a positive displacement supercharger.
