are you using these for the track or for the street?
If its just for street use, probably Michelin Pilot Sport Cups. I ran them track and street for a while and they lasted fairly long, and had real good grip when warmed up.
If its track only, then Hoosiers. I don't know if BF Goodrich makes their R1 tires in Z06 sizes, as I now track my 370Z, but thats what I run now and they are 95% the hoosier tire at 80% the cost.
what is the stickest tire i can run on my Z06? what are you guys using? different wheels? any advice would be appreciated. thanks.
Using stock set up GY Run Flats for street. Separate wheels and tires for track days. Wheels, CCW C10 18x11 front and 18x13 rears. Currently running Michelin Cups 295/30 front and 345/30 rears. Will move to Hoosier R6's when these are worn out. Be VERY careful when the sport cups are cold, they are slippery
Your stickest tire will be a racing slick, but you're now moving beyond just track days, so you'll need to start looking at brake upgrades, brake cooling etc ..........expensive.
I run 18in CCW Classic all the way around. I also run 18" tires all the way around. I've run Michelin Pilot Sport Cups, Kuhmo V710's, and Hoosier R6's. All very good tires for road course, but the Hoosier are the best imho.that I've run so far. Rear sizes are 315/30/18 Fronts 295/30/18, or as close to those sizes as I can get. Hoosier A6's are stickeir, but they don't last very long if you're roadracing with them.. Try the autocrossing/road racing section for more choices/answers.

For street use, you should also consider the Toyo R-888. Just an awesome tire: tough, decent wear, incredible grip, and apparently immune to repeated heat cycling and do not need to be heat-cycled at purchase. They drive better than the MPSCs at a fraction of the price.
