Does CAGS affect Launch Control
CAGS eliminator is always the first to go! But getting to think about it; does the CAGS affect the launch control?
After doing some research, I found that on some Camaros and GTOs the CAGS actually controls the reverse lockout.
I'd hate to be "testing" launch control and have the tranny drop out the back.

Reverse lockout enable is 3 MPH
Reverse lockout disable is 2 MPH
Unless you program these differently, the lockout for reverse acts separately and CAGs doesn't do squat to it.
Elmer
Barometric pressure is greater than 76 kPa
Speed between 15 and 19 MPH
Throttle position is 13% or less
Do you "launch" at these parameters? These are for CAGS to be activated. The CAGS defeat does not affect reverse as stated above, and if used just makes it a 6 speed manual shift with no computer interference.
