I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this already but someone wanted me to ask anyway so here goes. Can a paddle shift auto transmission be put into an 05 automatic Vette?

I think it would be a waste of time and money, I had a 08 with the 6spd auto and I wasn't impressed with the mileage or the way it worked.
If you have an c-5 with an auto and you want it to work better get it beefed up it will work better and be alot less expensive.
If you want 2 more gears go for the real deal and buy a manual, I was sorry I bought the auto after a few months without my c5z.

If you are serious, contact the guys at RPM Transmissions. They are installing 4L60E and 6L80E transmissions with paddle shifters in Z06 Corvettes.
This is not a cheap mod!
