Default 09 exhaust difference??

I am helping a friend try to find a nice exhaust for his 2010 and while searching for exhaust I saw there was an exhaust for 05-08 then a different one for 09 up.. What is the difference??

Search this forum for NPP mufflers and you'll get enough info to keep you busy all weekend.

The over the axle pipe is slightly different. I don't think there's ever been an explanation as to why.

The reason for the change is that the Z06 differential cradle was used on all of the other Corvette models.

........which forced a change in the muffler attachment points, correct?

Default 09 exhaust differences

The rear attachment points for the mufflers are the same. The pipe that goes over the axles are bent differently. Additionally, the rear portion of the X pipe is bent differently as well.
