Default First track pass w/ nitrous....

Well I ran only 1 pass tonight with the new nitrous setup at Crandall b/c it was so busy and they didn't open it up for 1/4 mile until an hour or 2 after the sun went down b/c of water at the big end. Then I had to wait an hour on top of that to run. This run was at 11:21pm. Hahaha. The car still has a tad bit more in it b/c this run was with a safe ramp up on the progressive with a 150 shot and letting off a little up top b/c I was afraid I was going to hit my rev limiter. Their damn traps weren't working on the big end also.

Oh and there is no 1000' time b/c a Pro Mod car hit it earlier that day and they weren't posting up any mph at the 1/4 for anyone for some reason. So in case anyone is questioning it, I do have a video that my buddy will email me tomorrow night and you can see the scoreboard even didn't post a mph for the 1/4.

Why were you afraid of the rev limiter? No window switch?

What tire/size did you run?

Just afraid in general 1st time out on nitrous. Next time I'll keep in it for the last split second. It was a Hoosier slick. Their new 28x10x17 size.

This was my first time running them. Felt great and stable. I drove an hour to the track on them also. Hahaha. This was a 1/4 mile pass. They just didn't post the mph all night for anyone.

You ran a 9.7 with 4.10's.

All of the sudden 4.10's are the gear of choice for 9 sec cars. Who would have thought? Oh yeah, .............me.

I love my 4.10's.

The 1.462 catches my eye.....that is Rattt G territory! Very impressive.

I know how he does it.. pretty much off the rev limiter and that RPS clutch holds it. How are you launching to get those times?

You are setting the bar for M6 guys with that car. Way to go!

Video has been added.

That was a 2500-2800 launch. I think I can get it down to a low 1.4 or a high 1.3 60' hopefully if I bring in the nitrous on a little earlier and a little harder. That was my only pass of the night and my first pass on nitrous. Hahahaha.

Thanks. The tire was good. Wish it was about an 1" taller. I'll be going back for one last try to hit a 9.5.
