great vid!

Man do yourself a favor and get c6 Z06 rear flares for your car...I'll go take a picture of mine, I'm even running my buddy's 315-35-17's off his c6Z, they stick out, and even so I never get anything on the quarters. I hated dealing with that tape!!

haha. you don't like my oldschool look? only way i could fit the 28s was to hike up the rear. i don't have any $$$ for a rear body yet. i did the tape b/c my buddy did it. this was my first time. i usually spray tire shine on the quarters so the rubber won't stick.

I don't mind the look, I just hate the hassle of it! The Z06 rear fender flares are about $20 if I recall correctly from Gene Culley.

It's the best $20 you'll spend on your car. I'll go take a picture of my wheel wells and quarters, my wheel wells are a MESS from 390 runs, but my rear quarter is perfect.

Here you go.

Nasty wheel wells

clean quarters! Best cheap mod out there. Quite a clean up time saver.

Nice Run. It looked like you pulled a wheel on the launch almost the front end was bouncing a little like you did.

You said you jacked up the rear to get those tires under there what exactly do you mean by that? Did you bring the bolts up?

Default .8 SEC for the nitrous

Congrats Andrew, For the one and only run it was totally awesome. I would guess your MPH is around 142MPH. What were you reving when you crossed the finish line?. I know CHAZ crossed at 134 @ 7100RPM but he wasn't running 28" tires so the taller tire works well with the 4.10 Gears.
You have a lot to look foreward to although the launch was almost perfect
with a ever so slight bog w a 2800 RPM launch

Thanks guys for all the compliments.

I wrenched the bolts to where I couldn't see much of the thread. That raised the rear of my car so I could fit the tires. When I put regular wheels back on I'll lower the car back down. Real easy. Take like10 min.

I was about 142-144. I was damn near rev limiter which is 7100 at the trap. My mind was all boggled bc of the first pass and was just looking for my shiftlight to go off so I could shift. Hahaha. 26s work great for me on motor and 28s on nitrous work great. Wish it was about 28.5 or 29 for nitrous.

Good info. I was looking at taller tires and never even thought of doing that. Keep up the good work.

Incredible. If I bog a launch down to 2800 I get a 1.8 every time.

Those Trickflow heads are the bomb. We have similar mods and you are 8 mph faster than me on motor. I think I'm going to put on a Gran Sport kit but each time I see your posts I think about those heads....

When are you adding the juice? What RPM?

What RPM do you launch on motor?

Hey Joe, It just might mean that A 100 shot of nitrous would get me into the 10's. I too am thinking about those trick flows but now it may be FI
with the new ZR1 type unit out. DSP's 10.58 was at about 526 RWHP and
now with a nitrous shot he's probably at 600 RWHP/ 550RWTQ. Not bad at all. Leon

I love the tfs heads. I am all about power and simple looks. Motor launch I believe is 2800-3000. I think the rps clutch and 4.10s help me alot. Don't remember when the juice started hitting. I'll have to go look at my progressive. I changed it 3 times before I ran. Haha. I believe it was 3600 or 3800 when nitrous started to ramp in.
