Replacing Squeaky Belt on C6
Hey All, I have a C6 and I have been experiencing a squeaky belt from the weather being wet then dry then wet then dry and so on. The belt is the original belt and has 45000 miles on it. I researched and found that the GoodYear Gatorback belt is the best to put on the car. I called the dealership and they want $95 in labor to put the belt on. I thought I would take it to them just incase something happened, they would be liable for it. I just cant bring myself to pay $95 for someone to put a belt on for me.
Please assure me that this process is as easy as it seems. My roommate has built cars from the ground up and is willing to help me.
