I just had my inspection done and they scraped off the old sticker and left that glue on the windshield. What can I use to remove it and not cause a problem. thanks, habib
I am assuming that the windshield does not have some sort of protective coating on the inside. That said, you should be able to use plain old lighter fluid (Zippo, Ronson, etc.) to remove the gummy residue. I use it all the time on a paper towel and it works fine!
Put a rag over your finger and dip or pour a small amout of solvent be careful not to make it too wet.
The glue they use on the stickers now is a PIA to get off, the place that put the sticker on was suppose to use the cleaner on the window to remove the excess before putting on the new sticker.
