Question on Kooks longtubes.....
Does anyone know if these headers are installed on their own will they eliminate the cats and bolt up to the factory midpipe just like the B&B headers do? The B&B only come in 1-3/4" and i want the 1-7/8".
Reason i ask is that i have the Bassani Dominator GT Race catback and i love it! The midpipe bolts right up to the factory cats so i need a header, like the B&B, that will eliminate them.

This is my midpipe and a pic of it installed if it helps any. Also, doesn't have to be Kooks....can be anything as long as they are available in 1-7/8" and i don't have to use their matching midpipe!

Nope. All quailty LT's (Kooks, ARH, LG's) have their own mid pipe. The best you could do is have a shop install the headers and weld the supplied mid pipe somewhere in the middle. You only have a 2.5 inch mid pipe now though and you could get the 3" mid pipe with the 1 7/8 headers from the vendor.

I just went ahead and ordered new 1-7/8" headers with 3"x2.5" x-pipe that will bolt up to my Bassani axie-back portion. Good thing my tips are resonated cause that's all there is going to be for sound control from the headers back! lol
