Bypass BAP?
My BAP burned up and I need to get the car on the road for some other repairs. I need to hotwire the fuel pump, I found the BAP=>Fuel Pump wiring connectors in the back of the car but can't find the original wiring that was cut. Since my BAP is burned, can I take the red/black pair from the BAP=>Fuel Pump and connect them to 12 volts (with a 20 amp fuse) and ground? Would this work or am I going to have some problems?
If it helps the installer followed the instructions with the APS kit but did a good job of hiding the original fuel pump wiring.
Any other suggestions are welcome.
