Default New build, which cam?

i just purchased an 05 corvette with all the options for an amazing price. i owned an 03 Z06 and absolutely loved it and for some reason took an offer to sell it. the c6 is an auto unfortunately, but i have to admit its nice to not have to change gears sometimes. anyway i am changing the wheels and tires of course, adding LT headers with x-pipe, and probably b&b exhaust. i really dont plan on getting much wilder than that, but you never know. i would like to have a cam to compliment these mods and have a really nice lope at idle and be really streetable. if this is possible, what would you guys recommend. also i live in bowling green ky and would like to know if there is a tuner very close and a good place to take the car to have the cam installed. any info would be greatly appreciated.

If you search the forum, there are lots of threads discussing different cams.

Good luck.

CAM's for the A6 that have been recommended in previous threads:
Without Stall - 224XFI/224XFI 115+2 LSA (SpinMonster's Cam for the Auto)
With Stall - 228XFI/228XFI 115+2 LSA (SpinMonster's Cam for Auto with Stall)

LG suggested their G5XE for the LS2 Auto. You will find many other combinations and opinions when using the search function. Member (cranky) installed Spin's recommended 224/224 115+2 and absolutely loves this combination. Good Luck!!

The same cams will apply to the a4 as the a6. The 224 and 228 cam is fairly mild. I plan on going with spin monsters advice on my cam as well but Im going to go larger like 236/236. Make sure you get a cam that is going to make the power you want or you will end up redoing it like me.

if you have the stock convertor in your a4, spin's cam 224/224 115 +2 works very well. made 438 rwhp and 419 rwtq in mine with a ported intake and t/b and underdrive balancer. i am in the process of getting some rims widened and nitto nt505r tires for it now................ i live in louisville and install these all the time. pm me if you are interested. cranky
