I have a 2008 LT4 optioned coupe. I have noticed that the telescopic memory isn't working all the time upon starting. I have been tracking it to see if there is a pattern, but nothing that I can point to.
Sometimes it will works for 10-14 starts and then either 1 or 2 times it will not return. Other times it may work only 3-6 starts then not work for 1 or 2. Never had it not work more than 2 times in a row. Longest working number is 14.
It is still under warranty but the dealer can't seem to duplicate the problem.
This is what I have tracked so far: x=(doesn't work), o=(worked)

Exactly the same scenario as mine. Dealer finally diagnosed the problem last week. In my case it was a 5V reference on the motherboard failing. It was an intermittent problem so it took a while for them to pull the codes.
New memory module on order. Will be replaced under warranty.
I have the same issue with my seat. Is the memory module the black box located underneath the driver seat or is it something located in the door? Thanks guys!
