Default seatbelt warning system problem

My question is if anyone has needed a reflash for a seatbelt warning system problem - presumably due to disconnecting the battery?

Details: I had my 06 C6 in at the dealer to get a tranny fluid hose replaced. Now, the seatbelt warning system can`t tell when the seatbelt has been plugged in. The dealer will look first at the sensor in the belt receptor. Neither of us thinks this makes sense that it died all of a sudden - coincident to the other work. They said a second idea is it may require a reflash. I assume the battery was disconnected for the work. I will also ask them to check the underseat connections. But again, why now? Maybe a tall or fat tech needed to push the seat all the way back?

Its probably a bad sensor or something. Electronics can go bad quick fast and in a hurry like one minute there good the next there not. It sounds like its gonna be an easy fix though.

Why don't you try disconnecting the battery for about 10 min, it's worth a shot before you spend bucks on it.
