Does any of you guys have or made up a JOGGER switch for setting the
Valve lash on your LS2 corvettes. I looked at the Schematics and the
Starter Relay is in the Engine Fuse Box relay # 43 Pin 6 ( purple wire) goes
directly to the Starter solenoid. Whats the prefered way to set the Valve
lash ?
installed a degreed 25% underdrive balancer when i did my cam. made a pointer coming down from one of the water pump bolts. modified a off set box end wrench to pull it over with the plugs out. works like a champ. started with number 1 cyl firing on TDC, and every 90 degrees adjust the next cyl. in the firing order. this assures you are on the base circle of the cam. balancer is degreed too by the way.
If you have an ARP crank bolt,a 1 1/16 box end wrench works fine,if you remove the upper radiator hose you'll have more turning room, still a bitch though. I just made a harness that i plug into the starter solenoid with a starter button. Radio Shack,.....$5.00.
