I just installed a hood on Wednesday. The height is adjustable by moving the 4 bolts at the front that are slotted.
Yep. It's just a repetitive, trial-and-error procedure until you get it just right. Just fiddle with it until you nail it down.
Important: Be aware that you will likely get things way out of wack at first and if you close hood with it way off you can damage the paint on the fenders and along the edge of the hood. It's a good idea to put some painter's tape or masking tape along the edges to protect things in case you forget yourself. It only takes one time...
Always close the hood *slowly* when testing your adjustments - make sure it's not going to dick your paint.

I used a two rolls of tape on mine. Also make sure the rear rubber adjusters are set correctly.
