Pauly, are you referring to tires that fit the stock oem wheels?

If so, some forum members have gone to a 305 in the back but it is not recommended by most tire manufacturers. To fit a 305 the wheels required should be atleast 11" wide whereas the stockers are at 10.5 ".
I doubt any of the people who have put the 305's on the stockers hit the track and therefore do not feel a difference. I would reccomend 295's as the widest on the stock rear wheels.

If you have the stock front wheels a 275 will bulge. better alternative is the aftermarket 9.5 wide front and 11 wide rear.

I have your brake pads for the track... you will just use on track day...they really stop and allow you to carry speed a lot longer before braking

Have you run track days before? You may want to read this sticky -- New to Autox and Road Racing -- and not worry about tires at this time. Seat time is what you're after.

To answer your question -- many go with a set of 18x10.5 wheels for their Dot-Rs and will run sizes of 275s through 315s often times with all four the same to allow rotation. Usually A6s or 710s unless you want street/track tires. Search in the Autocross & Road Racing Forum for more info.
