Default What did u do this weekend?

Well i had Madvette insulation for 6 months now and everywhere i took it i was qoutied somewhere around $1500
Its really hard for me to buy something and install it it for 10x more than its worth. It took me the whole weekend without rushing my self. I know its know a DIY but enjoy

Took the seats out. I noticed that the seats are pretty heavy I got 3LT Racing seats are near in future.

Hardest part really scary breaking sound when u try to take them out.

Thats where i got really lazy and tired and stopped documenting so there is a gape in pics

I had the dynamat before but i added the insulation over it.

Looks cool. Did you have drone problems? Or heat? What kind of effects are you getting w/ the new insulation?

I washed the Vette, went to Easter dinner at a neighbors, and took a nice cruise down to New Orleans.

Good job on the insulation. I went to NAS Pensacola while I was TDY at Eglin AFB. Watched the Blue Angels practice and spent the day at the Naval Air Museum.

Looks good, but I notice you didn't cover the areas directly behind the seats and the hump going to the back!

I used Second Skin insulation and did the work myself, too, easy to put on, but took me two full days to do it....back-breaking job so I wouldn't want to do this for a living!

By the way, I helped my nephew change the oils in his engine, trany, and rear end on his 1996 LT4 Corvette to AmsOil while drinking some Heineken.
