Default weird problems 05 convertible

A friend of mine purchased a c6 vert recently. it keeps displaying Tire pressure monitor and check gas cap?
There is nothing wrong with the tire pressure at all.

Any idea what is wrong?

Also, the driver side window doesn't roll up by itself. When you open the door, the window roll down a little bit, but when you close it you have to roll it up manually pressing the button.
How can i fix this. I have acces to a GM tech 2 btw.

Regards Tim

Your windows need to be re indexed. Thats a very simple procedure.

Get in and shut the doors. Push the window DOWN switch and when it s fully lowered continue to hold the DOWN switch for a solid 3 seconds. Then press the UP switch and when the window is fully raised continue to hold the UP button for a solid 3 seconds. That will recalibrate the window pop down index setting.

How old is your battery? If its weak, it will effect things like this. I just started to have weird electrical problems and sure enough, it a weak battery issue that causes it.

Heres the post that I just started about my issues:

Get the car scanned and check for DTCs and if there are any, clear them and see if they come back.
