Default SLP underdrive pulley, worth it?

For $200 the claimed 10hp sounds pretty good. Anyone have any negatives to report?

Generally the ud pulley change is part of a planned Cam change. I know
no one who replaced the UD pulley in a effort to pick up the 8 or 10 HP.
The only negative is Quite a bit of work and you will need another size belt for the 25% ud reduction. Some 05's have reported Generator charging CEL's every now and then. Its A good idea in one way that it is still A bolton if you are trying to get the record.

I had the UD pulley done as a swap on every H/C swap I did to all my cars and two instances I did see the charging error on the dash but never thought anything of it. The car was always at 14+ volts and until now, I never heard of anyone saying there was an issue with the charging system. I guess that could explain why I saw it but it never resulted in a dead battery or low voltage in 4 years on my car before i went with a s/c on my car.

It isnt a charging issue so dont think its a deciding factor if an owner of a 2005 should worry about. It never caused an issue and i saw it twice when starting my car in 4 years and it cleared 2 seconds later.

8-10hp is a no brainer.
