06 Ls2 tuning
Concerning the Diablo Sport Predator tuner? I am wondering if anyone has used these tuners or similiar ones on their LS2 for trying to increase performance and fuel mileage. If so, are the increases worth the cost of the tuner and does it hurt the engine or transmission? Also, is the K&N air filter or one like it worth the price?

Those hand held tuners provide you limited tuning capabilities. Unless you have an automatic Tranny, it's not too flexable and will not change a lot of the tuning functions that a tuner or some one with EFI Live or HP Tuners can change. It was not worth it for me.
I purchased one and once I saw the limited things that it would do for my 02 ZO6, I returned it and purchased EFI Live. It was not worth it for me.
It was more money $750 vs $400 but in the long run, im very glad that I did.
You can down load the trial demo copy of EFI Live and take a look at the way it works.

running at. There are some pre installed tunes in the predator that are
fair. But when you start making changes its hard to tell if you accomplished any more performance. Its just A guess.

or HP TUNER tune with A PREDATOR. You can however data log it and see where things are at.

NOW,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I get your point. Yep,,,if you had Preditor installed and purchased EFI Live or HPT and wanted to use it, you would need to put the OEM tune back in and then install one of the other tuning systems.

Live program with his predator when in fact he needs EFI LILE to do that.
They are stand alone systems just as you have quoted. Your right the OEM tune goes back in.
