OK I have the 40 amp Kenne Bell BAP for for FI C6. It seems to be working intermidently. If i do 4 hard pulls on car 3 are good one is bad. I have seen my fuel preasure drop to 20lbs on the rail. I know this is really bad. Has any one had this issue? Or know any known problems with the the BAP's. I have it hooked up to racetronix wireing harness. All fuses are good. etc...
MSD BAP here and my stock pump failed. Replaced it and got a real fuel system and no issues ever since. Stock pumps arent made to run on 22 volts. Powerlabs had the same issue. The deciding factor appears to be how hard you drive you car and if you let the fuel level go under 1/4 tank which overheats the pump (fuel cools it).
To each his own but just keep in mind you count failures to get a failure rate, not pumps that didnt fail yet on cars that dont get driven hard for a few hours at a time. If you dont spend time in high boost much then your pump isnt getting much of a voltage workout.
