squeaking
07 manual. I have a squealing sound coming from under the hood. I changed the main belt. Still does it. My friend at the dealership said to try the A/C belt. Not it either. Any ideas? Has it happened to anyone else? It's driving me nuts!

A wobbling crank pulley will cause the belt to chirp, chirp, chirp. Replacing the belt will temporarily (~50 to 100 miles) eliminate the chirp. So you probably have something else going on. Get some a small tube that you can place the end near the rotating components and the other end up to your ear (small funnel works well) and see if you can isolate the noise. And go from there.

I had a major squeal issue with a C5.
Ignoring the HB pully and bolt TSB issue.
One important step is to wire brush the groves of the HB.
Any antifreeze spillage in this front belt/ pully area is your enemy.
