Okay,I have a 2005 C6 with a NAV system that is built in afterwards.I don't know what version the Nav system is but if i put a MP3 cd in the upper slot he does recognize the MP3 cd.The problem is that a song is displayed and it shows SPICE GIRLS....1 file number 1.If i touch the button "track select" it turns out to be number 10 in that list. When i give the command "track up" he displays a different song but still it plays.....yep ....SPICE GIRLS.Now i know there will be some snappy remarks regarding the SPICE GIRLS and my NAV/Audio system but what the ****...as long as someone has a problemsolving idea I'm cool with it.I do have the 2 cd's with the software update but still have to burn it on a cd.Ohh...the MP3 cd was burnt with the newest Nero version....any help is appreciated.
I'm having the same problem. When I push "track 15", it plays track 8 or something, then when I try to manually scroll to it, it skips the last 6 or so songs and back to track 1 I go. Talked to the dealer, but they say its working fine. Any solution yet? 08 w/ NAV

The factory Nav is very finicky in how it wants MP3 CD's formatted. Check this thread for tips paying particular attention to FortMorganAl's advice:
