Default exhaust mod

I appologize in advance if there is already a thread on this - I am pretty horrible at searching (I'll work on that).

So my crappy stock Vette (yeah right) sounds like it has 4 cylinders. I would like to make my American Muscle car sound like it has been to the gym - know what I mean?

I have read a few exhaust threads, and a local Corvette shop recomended something I can not remember the name of, 3 letters and had 2xP's in it.

It is suposedly on the newer Vettes (2010+) and comes on the Z06 - an exhaust that has something to do with more vacuum, and while it is "on", it will give a much louder sound, and will resonate more. It should also add a little HP, but not much. It can also be turned "off" - or bypassed and sound and run like stock.

Is this a good way to go? Does anyone have any clue what I am talking about? Should I just grab a Borla or a B&B?

The NPP and the Z06 are the stock exhausts that are bi-modal, meaning soft in cruise but open up on WOT.

If you are looking to wake up the sound go Borla, Bullets. Get a ride or go to a show and listen and make a decision then.
