hey dave, if you use clear silcone, and let it set up overnight, your problems will be gone. here is a trick i use: roll up some hand towels [2] then get some ty raps [3] for each screen. insert them in the back side of the screens, top,middle, and bottom in a "u" with the long part sticking out thru the front side. insert the screens inside the fender with the ty raps sticking through the cove hole in the fender. then take your hand towels and install inbetween the ty raps. cinch them around the towels to hold the screens in place. tighten loosely at first till you get the screens where you want them. then tighten up snugly. then go inside the fender and apply the clear silicone. let sit overnight. have installed 28 sets of these and not one has come loose. hang in there, cranky
