I have a 2006 with an annoying issue. When I pull up on either window switch on the drivers door, the entire back end of the switch panel lifts out of the arm rest. The front or pointed end stays in place. Also, when I close the door, something light and metallic rattles inside. It is not a clunk or anything heavy. Could a metal clip have come off the switch panel? I know there is one under the front pointed end but am not sure what holds the rear section in?
I saw a picture of a used one on EBAY. Does the clip fit into a groove on the side of the bottom of the switch? How hard is it to get the door panel off and do I need any special tools?

Clip is on the switch housing and plugs down into the door panel. Need to be in the door panel from iside to release clip otherwise you'll hear the sound you're hearing.
Panels not hard to remove but are noisy and sound like it's going to break while removing. Look over in the audio section and search door panels. Several write ups that will walk you through it.
