All,
I recently had a A & A pro charger installed on my 2007 LS 2 engine. I am really happy with it and the install work done by Tony's Corvette Shop in Gaithersburg, MD. I have a question that maybe one of you with a similar set up might be able to answer. My oil temp hovers around 214-217. Is this a hight temp for the oil or is this about right?
Thanks in advance!
I didnt know A&A did prochargers.
My A&A Vortech car normaly runs about 200-205 in normal to moderate driving. It goes higher when the hammer comes down.
Synthethic oil is not affected by the temps youre running.
Your oil temps aren't high. With my 2006 LS2 & A&A SC kit (no oil cooler), I was getting oil temps around 230 with freeway and street driving. For peace of mind, I installed external oil and trans coolers and my temps are now 200 maximum.

Not high at all. Before I did my A&A I would get up to 205-210* when jumping on it. I was hitting it hard in 100* heat a few days ago and my oil was around 215-220*. I also have the Z51 that has an oil cooler integrated into the radiator. That is not high for oil temps. Don't sweat it.
Steve,
Thanks to you and otherst that replied to this thread. I was able to get in touch with Tony and I have found out that the temps are well within the acceptable range. I just wasnt sure and I did not want to do any damage to the engine!
Thanks again. This website is great for advice and support from fellow owners.
