Did a search, but couldn't find anything. If memory serves me (?) I recall that on Corvettes prior to C6 there was a "must shift into reverse to shut down" eliminator available aftermarket. Of course, on the older cars you needed to shift into reverse to lock the steering wheel etc. Wondered if anyone had come up with something similar for the '05 C6? Thanks.
The C5's didn't have that function so there was no aftermarket eliminator for them. They suffered from column lock issues so there was an aftermarket column lock eliminator. The Reverse shutdown is specific to the '05 only and there is no aftermarket eliminator that I'm aware of.

This is correct....only the '05 C6 MN6 has this design feature...must shift to Reverse on shut down to insure all electronics shut down; otherwise battery will discharge. I've been living with it for 5 years & have never heard of any after-market bypass device.
