Default M2W question

I have used the search function and can't find an answer to a question.
I recently installed Z06 mufflers along with Bassani headers and X pipe. We are about to install the M2W in a box. Is the natural state of the mufflers open or closed. Another words with no controls hooked up is the exhaust going through the muffler or is it straight thru.
I originally had the complete Bassani system and it was very loud. After installing the Z06 fflers it sounds very good but much more subdued. I just want to know if she is going to get louder or quieter once the M2W is hooked up
It is an 08 by the way.
Thanks

When the car is off, the valves default to the open position (b/c there's no vacuum from the motor.)

A cold start will give you a nice VROOM! before the valves get vacuum and close.

The Z06 mufflers won't likely be louder than the Bassani. Base NPP's are louder than the Z06 bi-modes b/c of the unbaffled straight pipe in the "open" position.
