Default Clutch Pedal Vibration.

Hey guys, im starting to feel a clutch pedal vibration/grinding feeling when I depress my clutch. Does this mean its the beginning of the end for the clutch? Anyone else have this issue. Its been happening the last couple of times i've driven the car and its usually when the car/clutch gets hot.

When my clutch gets good and hot after a drag strip run it is stiff - after a run, it's hard to push in on the return road, but I pump it 3 or 4 times and it's perfect by the time I get to the ticket booth.

But no vibration/grinding, just stiff. I can't say my buddies who had clutches go out have had vibration issues, usually just the pedal sticking down or the clutch slipping.

You should also change your fluid out, as I recommended on your other thread. It's almost free and cures a lot of ills for a lot of people.

I'd budget for a clutch if I was you, your stock clutch cannot handle a cam only 427 or even a hard launch...it's at its limit with much less power than you have.

lol, its already in the budget. Looking at the LS9X clutch, I have another thread about it asking if anyone has experience with it. I do change my fluid very often so thats not the problem. I think the stocker is just coming to the end of its life.

Yea I think you are right.

Might be a good idea to have a trailer lined up when you to to E-Town...lol

Oh, and if you clutch ends up binding and not releasing, making the car hard to get into gear, don't force it! You will end up rebuilding your trans if you bust your syncros or a blocker ring. That's expensive, ask me how I know!

Look at the RPS clutch line-up among others, this is something you will want/hope to do once (clutch replacement)

I've recently been getting some kind of vibration/grinding feeling/moaning feeling on the clutch pedal when it is close to the floor, either just before/during/just after the shift takes place.
Hard to describe because it's so strange, I would describe it as a very slight whine/moan/grinding type of a feeling.

It seems to happen at random times, but frequent enough to give me some concern at this point.
Can't be a worn clutch since I just had it replaced in March.
Hopefully it's just a fluid issue, I will try bleeding the clutch to see if that helps (bleeder was installed during clutch replacement).
