Default Looking for the easy way!!!

I had pulled the exausht out of my C6 Z06 from the headers back. I was getting ready to install new bi modes due to one ratteling. I started the car for fun to hear it. Than installed the exausht and hooked it all back up. I now have a check engine lite that will not clear it self. Will removing the positive cable from battery take care of this or is there an other simple solution. The car has been started a number of times and this has not cleared it

You can either disconnect the battery for about 30mins and then reconnect it OR find out what code you're actually setting off. If it's a lean code or something like that, no amount of clearing will fix the issue. It will continue to come back on once the computer has completed it's "systems check"...which is usually around 45 miles or so.

If it's just that you started it without the O2 sensors plugged up then it will go away with driving.

Pull the ECM Fuse in passener side fuse panel and see if it clears. If it comes back you need to check the code and maybe tune it out.
