2008 C6 Suspension Noise
Just purchased a low miles 08 still in warranty. When making low speed manuevers ( full lock turns left or right ) the car's suspension makes poping sounds, the steering wheel makes jerking movements as if there is slack in the front suspension that is alternately tightened and release. Higher speed manuevers at highway speed seem normal and tight. Anyone experienced similar problems
I have had that problem with the popping noise. I oiled the bushings in the front and rear suspension and the noise stopped. It seems that the under body wash at the car wash makes the popping worse. However, I haven't noticed any jerking movement in the steering. I only have 12K miles on my 08 C6. If the popping starts back, I'll probably take it in and get it check out.
Possibly the sway bar end links. They are the source of many "suspension noise" complaints, usually the rear but the front also. Here's just one recent discussion to check out:

Could be the diff fluid needs to be changed, it was suppose to be fixed on the 08's but mine is starting to do it. Clutch packs are not releasing causing binding and releasing that pretty much goes through the car.
