dont know much about these....are they a good header?

I can't remember where I read it, but Kooks is suppose to make these stepped headers for BPP (to BPP specs).

They start as a 1 7/8" and it is stepped down to a 1 3/4" . I doubt if that helps any but some say it helps in the torque department. Who knows. Others say it helps scavange the exhaust better. I would say, if there are any improvements - they'll be so,so small - you won't notice a thing. Just my .02.

they usually step headers from smaller to bigger, not the other way around

it does step up 1 3/4 -1 7/8

i also read somewhere that the step up is good for cammed or s/c motors...is this correct? why?
