So I am sitting in traffic today from neutral shifting into 1st and notice the exhause note changed to more of a clunking sound. Giving it a bit of gas it gave me a slight hesitation for a few seconds then went away. Then, on the same drive, I was crusing around a corner in 4th and it did the same thing (exhaust note change and hesitation for a few seconds) and went away.
Any ideas?
Car is a 06, 64k, new oil/plugs/plug wires, and z51. Only mod is full exhaust from headers back.
I am guessing a tranny oil change and dif change is in order, but anything else I should look for?

Sounds like knock retard. Look for exhaust pipes or headers knocking around against each other or frame which will trigger the knock sensors.

You have to grab and shake the muffles and pipes to see if they hit the frame or each other. My mufflers hit each other and rubbed against the rear floor heat shield behind the axle.
