Default Coil relocation and engine clean up

Well I've decided I want to go with the all business look and get ride of some of the plastic under the hood. I plan on going with powder-coated intake manifold and valve covers (red). Also I want to get some billet fuel rails and relocate the coils.

I could use suggestions form anyone who's done this. I'm interested in these valve covers:
http://www.hawkinsspeedshop.com/cate...duct-2013.html

I've seen a couple other C6s with them and was wondering what changes if any were required to make them work.
Also, if I wanted to relocate my coils to up beside the intake what brackets would I need? I know Katech makes some but you need to use their valve covers.

If I don't go that route where is a good place to ride the coils?

I've only seen the Katech setup. its clean. You can get the red valve covers without the Katech etched into it (talking about the relocation kit)

Haven't seen that setup before. Looks great, just in a different way than the Katech version.

I'm in the process of the same mod - old school look/hardware and no plastic ! I ordered the Katech valve covers and coil relocation kit. Have you talked to them about their kits ? Seems like coil relocation is independent from the valve covers - maybe I'm wrong. I know they have more than one version of the kit. They are doing my intake for me too.

My hang-up right now is getting an answer from FAST on whether their fuel rails will work with my LS3 intake.....? Do you know ? It is unclear if you need their intake or if a stock LS3 is okay. Also, their website does not provide clear information on what you get with the rails. Fittings yes. Braided fuel lines ?

Good luck on your quest ! Send me your pics when you are done !

I've sourced the valve covers, not I just need to to decided on the rest. I'm not sure how to mount the coils if I relocate them out of the way.

I got my valve covers from Nasty Performance. They are all hand fabricated and I love them. We relocated my coil packs behind the dry sump, Dallas Performance fabricated the brackets and did a clean install.

You know whats really interesting is that all the engine bays are pretty much the same ( except for the s/c unit) but present totally different with the color schemes. I like the black caps and polished but the red and blue caps and color added gives it a whole different look.

Check out "Gotcha's" car, he has the cleanest engine bay I have seen. Valve covers that cover the coil packs.

Those are probably the ABEAR covers. They were very slick until they went out of business.

GMPP valve covers, Katech coil mounts and plug wires. Since this pic I have persuaded the dip stick and repositioned the plug wire for #2 so they all face the same way.

I make my own. I decide what style fitting I want to run first and then take it from there.
There are actually quite a few options out there. Best ting is to window shop so to speak and then go from there. Black braided is becoming more popular as well.
