Geez...on my other cars I've been taking them to a shop the past 15 years. Never a problem.
On a C6 (non dry-sump) I would not worry about taking it to an oil change place. There is nothing special about changing the oil on a C6...nothing.
I would be more worried about a dealership having to hoist the car and damage the rocker panels. I vote for the local oil change place (that you are already comfortable with).
Personally, I change it myself on my Vette cause I get a chance to inspect things under there.

I took mine to Marty Feldman in Novi because they has a drive on lift for oil changes.
Thanks for all of the replys. I called the local Chevy dealer. They said they have mechanics that work solely on corvettes. They sell corvettes as well. They said I would be there about an hour and a 1/2 and it's a $158 which I didn't think was that bad.

You bumped a 14yr old thread first off,
Second off, 1.5 hrs and $158 for an oil change is ludicrous! Corvette shops sound great in theory, but my experience with their “Corvette dedicated “ guy” is usually that I know more than they do.
If the Corvette guy doesn’t own a corvette and hasn’t owned multiple, he is not a corvette guy. He is just the guy they dump Corvettes on to over analyze things to try and sucker you into services you don’t need because he has the “corvette guy” name tag.
There are lots of reputable garages, not Jiffy Lube, not Firestone or other chain shops,... places that do all kind of work on cars. Find one of those.
