Default LS3 engine dimensions?

i was looking around for possible engines to put into a kit car and wanted to know the dimensions of the ls3 engine?

i know the ls engines all use the same basic block so they all have just about the same external dimensions?

any pics in blueprint style giving the exact dimensions would be sweet

thanks

Any good search engine will get you just about any info you want...try google or yahoo. I used the following key words for this one: "lsx engine external dimensions".

i tried for hours to find one on google but never could using ls engine external dimensions and about a dozen other variations with different words all to no avail.

did you search lsx? i searched ls ls3 and ls6 and kept getting a bunch of summary crap from a ton of different sites but no real dimensions

in the posted link i went to the ls1 ls6 truck engines assuming these are the exact same as the corvettes dimension wise. these were likely in iron not aluminum but for dimensions that doesnt matter.

i am wondering however about the dimensions for it. did the external dimensions change from the gen 3 to gen 4 (i think) which is the one now offered in the vette since 2008? also because the ls1 and ls6 are the 5.7 liters and the ls3 is a 6.2

great link btw a load of info
