i just installed some re11's on my 08 vette and want to put some new shocks on before i go to the track .. i drive the car on the street mostly but will go to the track once in a while .. i would like to avoid wheel hop as much as possible .. so which bilstein shock is prefered hd or the sports ?
back awhile, I read that the base suspension C6 benefits most from HD shocks, and the Z51 from the Sports. I guess to some extent it depends on what you have and if you want to experiment, at cost to you. btw, what kind of "track" do you go to, drag or road? it may influence your whole suspension setup. or not.

I installed the Bilstein Sport shocks on my Z51. They are tuned just right for this suspension.
my car is a z51 ...how much are the pfadt shocks you guys are talking about ?
I did coilovers because the lowering bolts kept wearing out and I got tired of replacing them, so the coilovers lowered the car, make it handle better and provide adjustability.
I just installed Sports about a few months ago and love them. I haven't been to the canyons yet to test them out but there are a few windy streets I take to work and I noticed the difference. I have a Z51 and i don't get body roll like I used to.

IIRC that's the way Bilstein markets them, but they also say HD's on the Z51 is OK as well.
I believe the Sports have slightly stiffer jounce & rebound settings.
