Default FAST LSXr 102 - worth it?

I just had my car retuned & dyno'd; 436RWHP with a mild HCI & LT setup. I have a Formato ported OE intake, but was thinking about springing for the FAST. For those that have done so, was it a worthwhile investment? It's good that you no longer need to cut the firewall, but wonder the overall ROI on a moderately modded engine like mine (i.e no spray, blower, or huge power adders).

The lowest I've seen the intake is $799 w/o the gasket set.

Thanks.

Its almost identical to the Fast 92 in terms of performance. Ive seen several post on it and the average was about 5hp gain over the old fast. The advantage is not having to mod if for the firewall. 800 bucks is a a good chunk of change to spend the good thing is that anything you do in the future I.E cam it will just help it out that much more.

If you want to pick up a nice power Jump. Get the Fast 102 for $799 and have it dropped shipped to J. Formato for PORTING. When the 102 first came out there were few tests to compare it with the 92. The 92's are getting hard to get and they were hard to beat. The ported 102 is the best option out there." Ported" is the only way and best to do it all in one step to get the most. Leon
