Problem #1 Radio "forgets" sound adjustment settings frequently
Problem #2 DIC cuts out frequently
GM is trying to run away from the problem. Can anyone help

Your radio is a problem with the aux/battery power. The radio draws a little bit of power from the battery so that it can "remember" its settings. The DIC cutting out may be a bad ground. These should definitely be covered under warranty though.
