C6 MN6 reverse troubles
A few months ago I started have issues getting my car into reverse. It got progressively worse, to the point that I have to put the car into first gear with the parking brake on, inch forward (against the brake), then I can pop into reverse. Otherwise, no dice. I tried adjusting the shifter, following the info on here & still no dice. I did get a new monster cluctch installed afew months ago, but not sure if issues are related.
Would playing with the shifter adjustment help? I tried a few times already.
Any ideas?

Don't have an M6 but from what I've read here many/most agree that's pretty normal and kind of just get used to going into 1st or 2nd before going to Rev. I have had man trans cars in the past and some were like that, some weren't. I don't believe it's any indication of a problem. Be patient with the holiday weekend and see what others have to say in the next couple days.

if it is a 05 or 06 mn6 GM knows about this problem, there's a TSB on it. my 06 went out at 8000 miles. would not go into reverse, the dealer did not want to do the fix, so they replaced it with an 07, something breaks inside the tranny a keeps you from going in reverse, you apparently can still move the piece'es around
