Memory Seat Problem!
Hey All;
I seem to be having a problem with the Driver's side mirror and Seat retaining it's present position that I set it too! I have tried with both Key Fobs and they both seem to go to a different position then what I set it to.
Whenever I exit the car and and come back in it moves to a position "IT LIKES" and not the one I saved. I was wondering if anyone has a resolution for this issue?

I'm not clear on what's happening or what you've done so I'll just say start from scratch with setting the memory positions for each FOB as described in the owner's manual. If that doesn't fix it raise the seat up as high as possible and check underneath to make sure the wire connectors are tight and locked.

The fobs have been programmed for the seat setting correctly and I took out the seat completely to diagnose the problem and check and cleaned all the connections. The only thing I can think of is that the Memory Seat Module has gone "Loco" lol???

My "loco" seat and memory system was finally diagnosed as a chafed wire in the wiring harness that was interferring with the 5V reference supply of the microprocessor in the seat control module.

How would I go about testing the wiring harness to see if there is a chafed wire? Any tips on this?
