05 Road noise?
Just curious if anyone has Fixed this problem and how? Is it the F1 run flats or rear wheel wells that are so loud ?

It's the tires. If you have more than 5k they get so loud on certain surfaces you'll think a door is open.
They have advantages but quiet is not one of them.

I wasn't aware road noise was a problem (but my car is considerably louder than a stock C6 so I hardly notice road noise).
Certainly stiff sidewall runflats contribute to road noise. If you don't want to sacrifice the security of using runflats on the street, even placing a rear cargo mat inside the cargo area will help suppress road noise. There are also more involved noise insulating kits that can be installed.

I changed to PS2 tires (non-runflat) and got rid of much of the cabin noise/rumble.

Great information from everyone! I will change out the tires when they wear out and add a mat in the back.

I installed Exotic Vettes insulation package and partition and it made a big difference. I'm looking for additional improvement when I replace the GY Z51 tires.

No actually it was 518.00 shipped.
67 lbs and it should do the rear and whole front also.
It should be real quiet....Damplifier Pro 80sq ft plus another layer of something else?

Our pre-cut insulation kit (Mad-Mat) will reduce the road noise from the runflats considerably.
